What we do

Each year, the Yeovil & District Branch of Cats Protection: Helps cats and kittens in the Yeovil area including Ilchester, Somerton, Langport, Chard, Crewkerne, Ilminster, Martock, South Petherton, Stoke-sub-Hamdon and   many other villages. Re-homes cats and kittens.     Neuters and spays many cats and kittens.  Assists families on low income or who receive benefit to neuter or spay their cat or kitten.    Runs a lost and found register.    Provides information and leaflets on cat care free of charge.

Cat Chat is our very own newsletter -  a must for every cat lover!  It is a monthly publication containing news, views, photographs and articles from subscribers relating to cats and the people who love them.  It is an excellent way to keep in touch with the branch and all its events. For a yearly subscription of just £10.00 you can have Cat Chat through your letterbox or by email in glorious colour every month.   

LOST AND FOUND MANAGER   The Yeovil & District Branch of Cats Protection is looking for a volunteer for the position of Lost and Found Manager.  This involves managing the lost and found team, scanning stray cats, dealing with people via facebook, e-mails and on the telephone.  An ability to work in a team and to deal sympathetically with the public is essential.
