Welcome to Cats Protection Preston Branch.

We are a group of unpaid volunteers who work to rescue and rehome stray and abandoned cats and kittens in the PR1 - PR7, and PR25 / PR26 postcode areas of Lancashire.
We are happy to help with advice if you live outside those areas, but cannot give practical help with rehoming or neutering.
Within our area, our volunteers help with advice, issuing cat neutering vouchers to eligible owners, rescuing and rehoming stray, abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens, and fundraising constantly to fund our work. Because there are so many abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in the area, we usually have a waiting list for cats needing our help.
We are not an emergency service, or a veterinary charity. For help with vet bills (other than neutering), please contact the PDSA, RSPCA or Blue Cross. In an emergency, please contact a qualified vet. To report the neglect or abuse of a cat, please contact the RSPCA national helpline on 03000 1234 999.
You can contact us via our contact form on the relevant page of this website. Volunteers check our messages several times a day.
We have a presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
If you are interested in volunteering for us, please do get in touch. Our cats are cared for in private homes by volunteer fosterers, and we don't have a shelter, but we are always looking for new fundraising volunteers.
