Volunteering

Cats Protection Brighton & District Branch is run by a team of committed volunteers each with their own specific role according to their interests, time availability and skills. We mainly work from our own homes meeting up as a whole branch four times a year with the occasional social event.

All new volunteers will join a team and be supported through an induction process by a team leader. There are opportunities for training both online and in workshops at the National Cat Centre in Chelwood Gate.

If you have time to spare and would love to help cats please consider whether any of the roles that we are currently recruiting to would suit you.  Further information about these roles are listed below and you may express an interest in any of these online.

If you are interested fostering for Cats Protection and live in Brighton and Hove please email welfare@brighton.cats.org.uk We have three types of foster arrangements, one room, whole home and pen fostering. The pens are installed by Cats Protection and all equipment required for fostering is provided.

Should there be no current role advertised that interests you please contact our Coordinator to request a link to our full set of volunteer role descriptions and a volunteer application form so that you may register your interest should a suitable vacancy arise. coordinator@brighton.cats.org.uk.
