Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. At Cats Protection Gwent, we offer support services to help cats and kittens in the local community, covering postcodes: NP10, NP11, NP12, NP13, NP15, NP16, NP18, NP19, NP20, NP22, NP23, NP24, NP25, NP26, NP4, NP44, NP7, NP8.
We’re a passionate, cat-loving team who work in Gwent area to find loving new homes for local cats in our care. We also give general education and awareness within the Gwent area.
You can adopt one of our kittens here on our website, or from our main Facebook group or Adoption page. All cats are advertised when they are ready for new homes. Please read our adoption process first to make sure you can comply. If you can, please message Glynis Davies or our page to register your interest in a specific cat or kitten.
We care for many lovely cats of all ages who need a fresh start. They are looking for safe, loving and permanent homes. Kittens and younger cats are very popular. However, we often have older adult cats who also deserve the best life. The average life expectancy of a cat is 15–16 years, so older cats still have many happy years ahead.
Cats come to us for many reasons. Some are left behind when owners move. Some are given up due to changes at home. Sadly, some have known neglect or unkind treatment. All of them deserve kindness, security and love. If you have a caring heart and a stable home, please consider offering one of our cats a second chance.
Our adoption fee is £80 for adult cats and £100 for kittens less than 6 months old.
