Welcome to Macclesfield Cats Protection Branch

June 2020 Update
Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or kitten from Macclesfield Cats Protection. We remain closed at this time and are therefore unfortunately still unable to rehome any of the lovely felines in our care. Please note that we have no young kittens in our care at the moment. Do please keep an eye on our websire for updates and our Facebook page, where we will aim to keep information updated.
Take care and best wishes to you from all the volunteers at Macclesfield CP.

Due to the developing situation with COVID-19 we are taking some extra precautions at this time to try and ensure that we keep our volunteers safe so we can continue to care for cats. The Branch is currently closed which means that members of the public will not be allowed to visit the cats in our care and no adoptions or admissions are being carried out.

However, you can still contact us for advice or if you require a neutering or microchipping voucher by telephoning us on 01625 801802 or by emailing us at enquiries@macclesfield.cats.org.uk but please bear in mind that response times might be slightly longer than usual.

If you have an emergency situation in respect of rehoming a cat or kitten please call the main Cats Protection number which is 03000 12 12 12 or email info@cats.org.uk

As this situation is a rapidly changing one we will keep you updated with any changes as they occur.  Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

We have a new cat in our care that we believe must belong to someone. Please visit the FOUND section on our Lost and Found page and do get in touch with us if you are the owner of the tabby girl or know who she belongs to. Thank you!

Neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, providing flea and worm treatment, food and litter costs the branch well over £100 per cat or kitten so we are giving you great value for the joy of giving one of our lovely cats a forever home.

Our free neutering and microchipping campaign is still running in 2020! Please click here for further information.

We also have our Lost and Found page. Please take a look and keep an eye out for any of the cats that have sadly been reported missing along with those who have been found and need to get back home.
