Cats Protection has around 200 volunteer-run branches and 36 centres across the UK, helped by a dedicated team of feline welfare experts. As the leading authority on cats, our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
Our branch is staffed entirely by volunteers. We respond to all queries as quickly as we can, so please do be patient and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
We cover these postcode areas:
- M1 - M4
- M8 - M15
- M18 - M21
- M40
If your postcode isn't covered by the Manchester branch then try one of the other local branches:

Lost and found cats
Can you help us reunite any of these lost and found cats with their owners?
Help us stop a kitten smuggling scandal
The government has just announced new rules to prevent pet smuggling, but these proposals currently exclude cats and kittens. Join us in telling the government that they need to act to protect cats and kittens before it's too late.

Help make microchipping compulsory
