The Mansfield & District Branch was formed in 1988 with several fosterers keeping a handful of cats each. After several extremely generous donations were given, the Whiteley Shelter was built and opened by Mrs. B C Whiteley on the 23rd March 1996.Mansfield Adoption Centre is self-funding,all donations to the centre go directly to the care of our cats.
The Centre has homed hundreds of cats and has been the focus of attention for cat lovers in the Mansfield District since it opened.
Please note: We only accept cats in by prior appointment, sadly we have to operate a waiting list.
