Microchipping your Cat

Cats Protection are working to promote the compulsory microchipping of owned cats.
It is a cost effective and permanent way of checking cat ownership. So if they wander off are mistakenly picked up by somebody thinking they are a stray then a quick microchip check will help ensure that you and your feline friend are reunited.

The process is simple and can be carried out by your vet or a registered person. Each microchip has a unique 15 digit number linked to a database holding your contact details. It is therefore vitally important to keep these details updated; via your microchip company, to ensure you can be traced.
