Last year Charlene of Lichfield applied to adopt a black and white youngster called Milly – but sadly she’d just been taken from the Branch to the Adoption Centre. Charlene wasn’t daunted – no other cat would do! It meant a lot more travelling and tracing but she purrsevered and it all came good – and Milly has just celebrated her 2nd birthday!
Says Charlene: “Milly was totally worth the trouble and the travel. I fell in love with her from the website pics – she had a very determined intense look in her eyes! She’s playful and loving and gets all the attention she craves from me and my partner Simran. Either of us can wake up with her on our head! I know that Milly had a difficult start in life but she has found her forever home with us – I’d not change her for the world.
