What a do for the Cats Protection shop crew at Costa on Friday night...

All the ‘boys and girls’ and ladies who volunteer at the Erdington High Street CP shop met up and enjoyed a celebration of all things coffee and cat at Costa on Friday night – with more than a hint of a Christmas theme. Well, certainly by the look of the light-up jumpers sported by some!

North Birmingham Branch volunteers and shop volunteers (and some do both) are as one when it comes to the hours they put in to help raise funds to cover food and vet bills for local needy felines – so no wonder they need to let their hair down once in a while.

Branch coordinators, Jane and Nicole, called in to Costa to thank them all.  Said Nicole: “A massive thank you to managers Anita and Gabriela and all the volunteers at our Erdington shop – we are so grateful and proud of them. Their efforts and the money they raise really make  big difference to the needy, abandoned and sometimes sick cats and kittens of North Birmingham.”

Costa Manager Laura and her team made the CP party very welcome, even though they were left with a lot of washing up!
