Our motto is We will help if we can"

Rochdale Cats Protection is one of a network of over 250 volunteer run branches and 31 Cat Adoption Centres covering the UK. The main difference is that branches do not have a shelter facility but are managed by volunteers who work from their own homes The branch was founded in 1978.

The branch covers the following postcodes OL1, OL2, OL3, OL4, OL8, OL9, OL10, OL11, OL12, OL15, OL16, M24

Our main objectives are:
• Homing: to find good homes for stray and unwanted cats and kittens
• Neutering: to support and encourage the neutering of cats
• Education: to improve people's understanding of cats and their care

We are always looking for cat fosterers and welcome new volunteers.

We do not deal with cases of cruelty. If you have concerns over the neglect or ill-treatment of a cat, you should contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999
