Support us

To help the number of cats we do each year costs approximately £60,000.

With this money we look after about 500 cats and kittens until they are homed. We also help cat owners in the area with food and litter, arrange for strays to be neutered and for cats to receive vet treatment.

Last year our vet bill came to over £30,000. We arrange many fundraising events, but the income from these does not always keep pace with our expenditure.

If you are able to make a donation, however small, it would be gratefully received.

Sponsor a Pen

Sponsor a Pen

Every day, hundreds of unwanted cats receive help through the branches and adoption centres of Cats Protection.

Sponsoring a pen at your local branch is one of the best ways in which you can help provide them with shelter, warmth, food, medical help, and all the love they need.

It's easy to become a sponsor, and you will not be sponsoring just one cat – you will be sponsoring a pen with one of our fosterers.

You'll receive a regular newsletter giving you details of all the cats that have resided in the pen until they are lucky enough to be rehomed. As each cat finds its new home another takes its place. Over time you will be able to help cat after cat. How rewarding to look back at all the cats you have financially helped in your local area.

Sponsorship goes towards making the pens comfortable, providing food & litter, and helps with the cost of providing each cat with a health check, neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations. The love we give however comes for free!

If you would like to make a donation to help our sponsor cats, please complete the form below. Donations can be one-off (for example as a present for a friend), monthly or annually. We are very flexible!

Contact our Sponsorship Secretary for more information.
