Adopt a cat

One of our main activities in our District is to find homes for cats in our care. We try to keep the adopt a cat list updated but sometimes we will have new arrivals, not yet on the website. Occasionally, we have available kittens and also cats suitable for farms. Serious adopters for kittens please as it is an 18 year commitment you will be taking on. Kittens are adopted out between 9 and 12 weeks of age depending on the situation. Every prospective new home will be subject to a home visit, enabling us to match the right cat to the right family. We have a selection of cats waiting to come into care, please ask if one may be suitable for you.

If you are interested in homing one of our cats, you can discuss it with us and, if necessary, arrange a home visit at a time to suit you by telephoning

All cats leaving our care have been:
neutered,
micro chipped,
vet checked,
brought up to date with their vaccinations, worming and flea treatments ready for their new home.

We normally do the above in the first few days of the cat coming into our care, which costs us around £80 on average each cat costs the branch £260 during it's stay with us.  Except in certain circumstances, we ask for a £95 donation per cat to help towards these costs and to allow us to continue to offer the service of re homing cats.

As well as the cats shown on this page, we hold a waiting list of cats to come into care. If none of these lovelies fits the bill for you, we may have one waiting that does.

Please view the videos of our cats by clicking on "watch video" at the end of their information list.
