Important information regarding cat admissions and rehoming
Rescue organisations and vets across The Midlands are noticing higher than usual levels of Feline Parvovirus in circulation. To safeguard the cats in our care and to prevent further transmission of the virus across the region we are taking precautions around intake and rehoming of cats which may mean our wait times are longer than usual. Please do not bring your cat to the branch until you are contacted by us to make arrangements.
Feline Parvovirus is highly contagious with a high mortality rate. If your cat shows any signs of being unwell (including, but not limited to, vomiting, diarrhoea, lethargy, high fever and a loss of appetite), please contact your nearest vet and do not bring your cat to the branch.
To help protect your cat against this virus, and to enable us to help you more speedily - please ensure your cat is up to date with vaccines and boosters.
