Welcome to the Worcester Branch of Cats Protection

Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
It’s an ambitious vision. However, we truly believe it can be achieved because of our passion, our professional approach and simply because cats are among the UK’s most popular companion pets.

Cats Protection has simple and clear objectives to help cats:

Homing - Finding good homes for cats in need

Neutering - Supporting and encouraging the neutering of cats

Information - Improving people’s understanding of cats and their care

Coronavirus Update - Branch Currently Closed

Due to the developing situation with COVID-19 we are taking some extra precautions at this time to try and ensure that we keep our visitors and volunteers safe so we can continue to care for cats.

The Branch is currently closed;  no viewings, adoptions or admissions are being carried out.

If you would like any advice relating to Cats Protection and our Services please contact 01905 904058 or email enquiries@worcester.cats.org.uk. Response times might be slightly longer than usual.

If you need to relinquish a cat or kitten please call 03000 12 12 12 or email info@cats.org.uk.

As this situation is a rapidly changing one we will keep you updated with any changes as they occur, thank you for your patience at this time.

We are looking for Fundraising volunteers now, would you like to join our team?

Do you have a few hours to spare to help at our events to raise money for the cats and kittens in our care? The events are fun, especially the Quiz evening which is so popular that quizzers request it to be held again.

Please call us on 01905 904058 we can then pass on your details to our fundraising co-ordinator so that you can find out more and become part of the team. Thankyou from all the cats and kittens your volunteering could help get ready for their forever home.

Leftover holiday coins, notes and used stamps

If you are wondering what to do with “Leftover holiday coins/notes and used stamps”, then why not hand them in to one of our local shops to help cats and kittens in our care.
Just think your old stamps and coins can be turned into toys and equipment for the cats, making their stay with us before re-homing just that little bit more comfortable and less stressful.
So if you have any stamps, coins or old notes lurking in a drawer we are very happy to take them at one of our shops. Thank You
