WELCOME TO BEXLEY AND DISTRICT BRANCH 01322 611911

Check us out on Facebook

We are a small, but busy group with 19 pens, run entirely by volunteers. We always welcome new friends to socialise the cats, donate food, bedding, scratching posts etc., or even give a gift of money however small or large. We would like to thank everyone, for donating food/litter/toys, for donations of money, giving goods for us to sell, and to all our wonderful socialisers who we could not do without.   We really do appreciate this extra help.     A very big thank you.
OUR HOMING STATISTICS
We have approximately 30 cats in our care at any one time and we operate a waiting list for any cats that we may not be able to take in immediately. Due to the hard work of all our staff and volunteers we have achieved: -

2017 we homed a total of 337 cats and kittens
Last fundraising event :  Spring Fair, United Reform Church, Geddes Place, DA6 7DJ
Amount raised : £232.43
Latest news:

A very generous sum of over £900 was donated to the Branch in memory of Carole Terry, a life member and long time supporter of Bexley & District Branch. Thank you to all her family and friends. We will all miss her.

OLDER CATS
We have a number of older cats needing loving home! Please do not overlook them as they have so much to give, and do not deserve to be passed over and left in a pen for many months.

FORTHCOMING SALES  EVENTS  and FUNDRAISING
Please try and attend and make yourself known to Tricia and Rosemary at these events
EVERY PENNY RAISED GOES TOWARDS THE CARE OF THE CATS
During 2017 our hard working fundraisers, Tricia and Rosemary raised an amazing ££1534.36 ! This would not have been possible without all those who have donated unwanted gifts and nearly new goods, stopped at the stall to buy, and for Tricia and Rosemary and Tricia's husband who make it all possible.

KEEP AN EYE ON OUR EVENTS PAGE FOR UP AND COMING FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES
Please consider being responsible for one of our collection boxes if you know of a suitable retail outlet/office. We also have a cardboard collection box that you can keep  in your home.   Small change soon mounts up.

Branch Mewsletter :  It is easier for us if it is sent via email, which saves postage and also paper and ink.  The money saved can go towards caring for the cats/kittens.  Please notify our Editor Sandra if you wish to do this.  (Contact details in Mewsletter and under CONTACT on this site).

Membership of our branch is £5, £7-50 or £100 for life membership, which all goes to helping our cats in care. You can download a membership form from HERE
Members other than Life Members, PLEASE remember to renew your membership every year, for ease this is done at the beginning of each year - it is so easily missed, but much valued by us and the cats in our care.
