Welcome to Cats Protection Carmarthenshire

Due to the developing situation with COVID-19 we are taking some extra precautions at this time to try and ensure that we keep our visitors, cats and volunteers safe so we can continue to care for cats.  The branch is currently closed; no adoptions or admissions are being carried out.

If you would like any advice relating to Cats Protection and our services please call the Contact Centre using 03000 121212 or e-mail info@cats.org.uk
Response times might be slightly longer than usual.

As this situation is a rapidly changing one we will keep you updated via this web site with any changes as they occur Thank you for your patience at this time.

The branch is run by a small number of unpaid volunteers that covers the large county of Carmarthenshire. At the moment, the branch can only cover the postcode area containing SA14, SA15, SA16, SA17, SA18, SA19, SA20, SA31, SA32, SA33, SA34, SA35, SA36, SA37, SA38, SA39, SA40, SA41 and a small part of SA4.

We are in desperate need of volunteers and so people are advised to call or email the branch to see what volunteering roles are available.

The Carmarthenshire branch does not have an adoption centre, and so it relies on foster homes to house cats/kittens in care, adhering to the high standards set out by Cats Protection as a national charity.

To get in touch with the branch, please contact the helpline or through our Facebook page. We do ask that all members of the public to please be patient when it comes to answering messages and returning calls as volunteers have got other commitments. Thank you.
