A number of torties

This pretty little princess is Ruby my one-eyed tortie who is 17 years old today. She came to me as a foster kitten but wormed her way into my home very quickly and is totally responsible for my addiction to torties. Here she is in one of her many sleeping places, on my lap and surrounded by boxer dog "stuff". Be assured she is in charge of the household including my 3 year old boxer Vera. In fact Ruby has, with ease, taught several boxer puppies to respect cats.
Last night she decided that she had everything a 17 year old tortie needed, although I suspect she was under the influence of a new catnip pillow at the time! So the best present she could have would be to find homes for the four equally beautiful torties that we are fostering at present.
SKETCH and SANDY are 14 year old sisters whose owner can no longer care for them. They don't really like each other and need separate homes. FLOSSIE is 5 years old and was abandoned at a local vets, left on their doorstep surrounded by all her possessions, a bed, blanket and food bowls. Flossie seems to bear no ill will to humans for the treatment she has received. Finally, affectionate TINSEL (no photo here) who is 9 years old and wants to constantly be with her humans and because of this needs a home without other pets.
