Welcome to the Ipswich Cats Protection

Areas covered: Ipswich IP1 to IP11

The Ipswich Branch of Cats Protection was formed in 2000 after working in conjunction with a neighbouring branch for ten years. We are part of a network of over 250 volunteer run branches and 32 adoption centres collectively helping around 200,000 cats and kittens every year.

The charity’s vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.

Our objectives are:
Homing - Finding good homes for cats in need
Neutering - Supporting and encouraging the neutering of cats
Information - Improving people’s understanding of cats and their care

The Ipswich branch is run by volunteers, we promote the work of Cats Protection, hold events and fundraise.

We have 10 regular fosterers who have a total of 19 pens in their own gardens. All of our cats/kittens are health checked by a veterinary professional, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and neutered where appropriate before they are rehomed.
