National Black Cat Day 2014

30 October 2014
National Black Cat Day 2014

In the build up to National Black Cat day, which was on Thursday 30th October, we decorated the centre with little black cats. Fred was happy to share the limelight with these black cats seen as though he celebrates National Fred Day everyday of the week.

In addition to our little black cat decorations, Terri-lee made some delicious black cat biscuits (sorry no photo - they all got eaten very quickly!!) which we raised £10 from. This money will go towards the continued care for all our cats in the centre, especially our monochrome moggies.

Everyday we posted a picture of one of our black or black and white cats from our Adoption Centre who is looking for a new home. Within this week we have successfully homed Salem, Chloe and Onyx, and kittens Scarlett and Rhet, so a great success so far. We still have kittens Bella and Melanie available for adoption, and in our centre many more beautiful black cats await patiently.

If you are looking to adopt a cat, whether it be black, white or striped, why not check out the Adopt a Cat section on our website to see if you can give one of our beautiful furry friends a forever home.
