What we do

Based in Wrexham, covering the areas of Chester, Flintshire, Denbighshire and North Shropshire  The Wrexham Adoption Centre takes in stray and abandoned cats and kittens, and provides a rehoming service for owners who are no longer able to care for their cat.

The Centre homes hundreds of cat each year but currently operates a waiting list for cats coming into care.
All cats in our care are vet checked, neutered (or issued with a neutering voucher) vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms and go home with four weeks free pet insurance (T&C’s apply).
The Centre also hires out humane traps to allow ferals to be trapped, neutered and returned to site.

Free Education talks can be arranged.

As an Adoption Centre, we are essentially self funding.  Our charity shop in Wrexham town centre, along with numerous fund-raising events, helps to raise money for our cat welfare work.

At the Wrexham Adoption Centre, through a dedicated team of staff and volunteers we provide the following services:

  •     Care for and rehome stray and abandoned cats and kittens.

  •     Care for and rehome cats and kittens whose owners are no longer able to care for them.

  •     Lost & Found register

  •     Cat care advice

  • Education Talks
