Remembering Kathryn - a much missed volunteer

Twelve months ago we received the shocking news of the sudden death of Kathryn Dowling, a volunteer at the Wrexham Adoption Centre.  A caring and bubbly girl with a heart of gold, she was always the life and soul of the party and made every Saturday fun at the Centre.  From her dedication and enthusiasm with the cats to her infectious laugh she was a treasured and appreciated volunteer for us for many years.

We have chosen Kat to inspire our current volunteer recruitment display at the Centre as her contribution will always be remembered and admired.

Kathryn’s mother Karen is heading a sponsored walk up Snowdon on 14th June in aid of the Critical Care Unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital, where Kat was cared for during her final hours.  Please support her by donating through her “Just Giving” page -  Donate on Just Giving
