Adopt a cat
Please scroll down to view the cats and kittens available for rehoming, you will need to be aged over 18 to adopt. If you want to find out more information about any of our cats and kittens please call the fosterer listed in the cat's description if given.
We ask for an adoption fee of £85 for an adult cat and £105 for a kitten, which will go towards the cost of feeding and vet visits. It may be possible to reduce the adoption fee for cats aged 12 years and over. The fosterer will discuss with potential adopter by taking into account current state of the cat's health and the actual age of the cat in question. Our minimum veterinary standard ensures your cat or kitten will be seen by a vet and:-
- Neutered (as necessary)
- Full health examination
- Flea and worm treated
We may have some older cats in our care that are looking for a home to see out their twilight years. Please give consideration to these cats as sometimes they can take longer to re-home. They will be listed below but we have a page dedicated to them. Adoption fee reduction (see above paragraph). To find out more about these cats go to Golden Oldies.
Some of the cats on our website are advertised on behalf of their owners and although they may be on our waiting list they are not currently in our care. If you are interested in rehoming one of these cats please contact us or the owner if details are given. Cats Protection have not seen these cats and therefore cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided. Arrangements to adopt a Direct Homing cat may be made directly with the owner but Cats Protection can arrange a discounted veterinary health check after adoption if requested.
