Adopt a cat

Please scroll down to view the cats and kittens available for rehoming and do check ALL the pages as new cats are added on at the end. To find out more information about any of our cats and kittens please call the fosterer listed in the cat's description.

We ask for an adoption fee of £60 (per cat or kitten), which will go towards the cost of feeding and vet visits. Our minimum veterinary standard ensures your cat or kitten will be seen by a vet and:-

  • Neutered (as necessary)
  • Full health examination (including blood tests for FIV and Leukemia)
  • Vaccinated
  • Microchipped
  • Flea and worm treated

Golden Oldies
We may have some older cats in our care that are looking for a home to see out their twilight years. Please give consideration to these cats as sometimes they can take longer to re-home. They will be listed below but we have a page dedicated to them. To find out more about TABITHA go to Golden Oldies.

Direct Homing
Some of the cats on our website are advertised on behalf of their owners and although they may be on our waiting list they are not currently in our care. If you are interested in rehoming one of these cats please contact us or the owner if details are given.
Cats Protection have not seen these cats and therefore cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided. Arrangements to adopt a Direct Homing cat will be made directly with the owner but Cats Protection can arrange a discounted veterinary health check after adoption if requested. Click on Direct Homing to view these cats.

Kittens
At the moment we DO NOT have any kittens in our care for adoption. If and when we do they will be advertised on this page. We do not have a waiting list so please do not contact us until there is a kitten(s) on here that you would like to adopt.

***We currently (May 2021) have a number of feral cats needing outdoor homes. Do you have a farm, stables, smallholding that requires hard working pest controllers? They don't mind working long hours in return for shelter and food. They will be neutered. If you are interested, please email lostandfound@glastonbury.cats.org.uk or phone 07833 634087***
