DRH PiperWellingborough & Rushden

I’ve no idea why I ended up with a musical name like Piper.
There were certainly no cheerful tunes (or cheerful anything) in my dire experience as a down and out young mother just about two years old with kittens to care for.
To put it bluntly, I and the babes were simply chucked out.
We were eventually found abandoned in a garden, after I was spotted tramping from house to house scrounging food for both me and the kittens.
Luckily, we were eventually taken into care and with no known name, I was duly dubbed Piper.
Maybe it was because I did make grateful musical thank you noises.
I do very much like human company, so perhaps I was loved sometime in the dark, distant past I might seem a little shy when you first meet me, but after a couple of get-to-know-you sniffs,
I’m very loving and my lovely kittens have been safely homed, so I’m now ready to begin a new life with someone who’ll take good care of me. My fosterer says that I am a “lovely cat” and would make someone a really fine companion.
Unsurprisingly, my wish is for a forever home, ideally with just adults, plus perhaps older children – and oh, a safe garden to explore.
I would, however, need to be the only furry friend in the house, as dangerous street life has made me very wary of dogs and other cats. Does all this sound like the sort of home environment you could offer?

If so, I’ll certainly be piping out many melodious thanks.
