In memory of Mika

a week ago today we lost our beloved Mika, she was over 20 yrs old, adopted at 13 yrs, we bonded, showered her with love, our first part feral and adult cat, super intelligent understood what you said, quite verbal and affectionate, Mika shared herself with us and our neighbours she visited them every day, they looked after her when we were away and bonded with her too, it was terrible to see her suffer, I cuddled her on route to the vets, calming her, we stayed when she was put to sleep telling her how much she was loved and to rest in peace. we all miss her deeply, a unique character, our home is so quiet and empty without her. So different from our other past cats. Thank you Mika for the joy you bought into our lives with your cheeky habits, a real little diva that demanded attention on her terms and for enabling us to be with you, to the end.
