In memory of Kimi
In loving memory our friendly, gentle soul Kimi who passed away yesterday. She was adopted via Cats Protection Stockport, along with her sister, in 2013. The female kittens were named at their foster home as Christy and Stella. They were known collectively as "thunderpaws" because of the noise they made jumping about! We sadly lost Lola to organ failure in 2019, and Kimi has followed the same way. Both went peacefully at different vets. We will always remember the superb advice and care given by Vet Graeme in Tunbridge Wells as both cats matured. Kimi and Lola were fantastic company, Kimi particularly loved to join anyone relaxing on the sofa. Both girls were active, outdoor cats and enjoyed jumping, pouncing and catching an array of things that moved. As Kimi slowed down, she would still bat the kitten toys introduced to our house with the arrival of Keldy. He is currently looking for you Kimi...we're comforting him with fusses and all of the tuna. We moved Kimi and Lola with our growing family around the UK, and they adapted remarkably well. To help us remember them, we have bought a beautiful ornament from Cats Protection. It will sit in the sunshine, here with us in the West Midlands. Thanks for being our original babies girls. Rest in peace. (Photo 1, Kimi. Photo 2, Lola)
