In memory of Minette Kiara

We were meant to meet and destiny waved its magic wand to bring us together during the sweet Mediterranean Summer days of 2025, through the synchronicity of interwoven serendipitous events that made our paths cross over and over. This déjà-vu familiarity about you confirmed it, we fitted so well into each other's lives. You felt so soulful and spirited, a precious, beloved feline soulmate from a previous lifetime ushered back to me and the serendipity felt instantly comfortable and symbiotic, some might say mystical. I adopted you in a heartbeat, yet we had been soulmates over the span of lifetimes. I will be bluntly honest : you stood out from my other cats. You brought along your joy, friendliness, contentment, resolve, fortitude, strong personality, emotional intelligence, wisdom, grace, allure, poise, ethereal beauty and supergirly froufrou deameanour. Your intriguing wide sandy eyes, your sun-bleached fur (you loved lying in the sun so much!), your cute peccadilloes over food (360° twirls and strident joyful vocalising), your gentleness and easy-going attitude (keen to befriend my other cats who sadly didn't agree with your prerogative). Yet on a starless night, as Autumn was preparing to roll into Winter, suddenly and unexpectedly, you passed away from an adverse drug reaction after a routine vet visit. This ordeal tipped me off into the deep end of a long raging Winter. 😿 I acutely and heart-breakingly miss you, Minette! How do you mend a broken heart other than by knowing we will be reunited with our dear departed pets when our time comes, and that soulmates will always find a way to reconnect. Minette Kiara, a marvelous being, dear friend and beloved family member who graced this Earth, c.2016 – 09/11/2025. Thanks for being You. 💖
