In memory of Bowen

Bowen was a big, gentle giant of a cat weighing in at 8kg. He came to us as a 4-5 month old kitten who was found with his brother, Anno, in bushes near a dead female cat. We took both boys in but sadly lost Anno to cancer 5 years ago at 10.5 years of age. Bowen has always been a big boy with huge paws and a big personality. He terrorized the dogs that were five times his size. He was such a loving boy with me, purring when I gave him attention, sitting beside me for hours when reading or watching TV, and I often woke in the night to find him asleep next to me. He started to lose weight and we discovered he had stomach cancer. Sadly it was aggressive and just a few months after the diagnosis we have had to say GOODBYE. I will miss him so much. I will wake up in the night and wonder where he is. I will miss his purrs and demands for attention. I hope he is now playing happily with his brother again.
