In memory of Molly
Molly was a very special cat indeed. When a cat reaches the age of 19, their passing is something that you try to prepare for. Yet when it happens, you are still not prepared. This little cat - small in size, but with a lion's heart - was everything you could ask for. She loved her cuddles, was curious, adventurous, highly intelligent (the most intelligent cat I have known in my life!), sassy - and could spot mischief a mile off. I was fortunate to have Molly in my life since she was a very young cat - for almost two decades. From the day I met her and Gizmo together in the Stubbington Ark shelter (near Portsmouth) - she put her paw out of the cage as I approached - life would never be the same again! With a sad irony, she died aged 19 years and 1 month - almost exactly the same time as her beloved brother Gizmo did - also 19 years and 1 month, back in 2023. I like to think that they are now together, Gizmo continuing to look after Molly. We are forever grateful that Molly was able to enjoy six precious months here in her new home, and to get the opportunity to spend time in her beloved greenhouse. We are heartbroken, but at this time seeking to treasure the huge bundle of memories that we have. RIP Molly... 5 May 2007 - 5 June 2026 - run free over the Rainbow Bridge with Gizmo. xxx
