In memory of SIMBA

What can I say about my most beautiful loving companion for 17 years. I adopted Simba age 12 weeks old, and from the start he was so loving. He was born in an old chair in Edinburgh, when workmen cleared the house they found Simba with his siblings. They were taken to Cats Protection and there starts our story. When I went to meet him I loved him as soon as I saw him and I think he liked me too as after a little playing session with his toy he fell asleep in my arms, I took him home and from day one he was so so loving and content, he loved being home with me and wasn't bothered too much about going outside, just a little wander around the garden was enough. Those 17 years have gone so fast with so many happy times. Simba was diagnosed with ckd just this year and there began the battle to help him control the disease. He lost that battle on 13th July 2026 and we had to say goodbye. It is a very painful time and I miss my beautiful boy so very much. Sleep well my beautiful boy, thank you for loving me all your life as I will love you all of mine. Wait for me Simba, until we meet again. What a reunion that will be my darling.
