In memory of Simon

Simon belonged to the next door neighbour but around 3 years ago, decided he wanted to try my house instead! He plucked up the courage to come in and never looked back, apart from the occasional visit back next door! He stole my heart instantly, despite never having cats. He was the most laid back handsome boy, a true character that knew what he wanted and when he wanted it! Those cuddles and snuggles in bed, moving where I slept to accommodate him, buying him endless treats and toys, stroking him and keeping windows open so he could come and go as he pleased. He was the best company and the best friend, who I often told how much I loved him and indeed thanked him for picking me to be his human. He passed away on my lap, after becoming very unwell a few days before. It was very peaceful and I hope he knew how much I was grateful to him for his friendship. Goodbye my dear friend.
