In memory of Tuppence

Tuppence came to us from CPL 7 years ago, we were told she was around 2-3 years old at that point, although now we know she was likely to have been a bit older. It took her a while to settle in with us due to previous experiences but once settled she was the most affectionate and loving Cat. She loved to sit on my chest with her head under my chin, and enjoyed lazing outside in the sunshine, she would sleep outside on warm summer nights and cosy up indoors in the winter. She used to follow us up the lane on adventures, sometimes she would come over the road to the orchard to explore, she never went far without us though and never once went missing, she always stayed close. Towards the end she developed a lot of health issues that the vets couldn’t help with, and eventually she decided it was time to leave us, we found her peacefully at rest in the sunshine beneath a tree yesterday morning. Everyone who met Tuppy loved her, and she had time and love for everyone. She will be sorely missed, but I’m thankful we were blessed to have her in our lives xx
