Is your company interested in developing a corporate partnership with Cats Protection? If so please get in touch with us today

In 2018 we rehomed 41,000 cats and kittens and helped reunite 3,000. This means that around 200,000 cats are given the chance of a better life every year. Through the support of our charity corporate partnerships we are able to help cats in need across the UK.

No matter the size of the organisation, our experienced team will work with you to create a great partnership package.

Why partner with us?

The difference your company can make

Our current partners support us in a variety of ways. They raise important funds through marketing campaigns, sponsorships and spreading our cat welfare and vet care messages. It costs us an average of £180 to care for a cat until they find a home. As such, successful corporate charity partnerships help to provide us with vital funds.

How do corporate partnerships work?

Partnerships rely on the organisation providing funding and resources of the charity. This is a great way for charities to grow and develop. The support we get secures a regular source of funding, helping charities to plan and improve their services.

Known as one of the leading animal charities in the country, Cats Protection also boosts a positive reputation for a partnered company.

Ways to partner with us

Access to your audience

You could help us to reach a bigger audience by spreading our welfare messages to your audience. This can be done through publications, websites and social media.

For example, you could talk about our work, Cat Sponsorship programme, Cat Guardians scheme or campaigns such as National Black Cat Day.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is an easy way for your employees to make donations. Employees can make a regular donation through their monthly pay before tax. This means that every £1 they give to Cats Protection will only cost them 80p. Employees are able to decide a donation of their choice. This scheme brings benefits to your company for a number of reasons. This is because raising your Corporate Community Investment profile, boost morale and create a sense of team building.

In order for employees to be able to donate this way, you will need to have a Payroll Giving scheme in place. More information about Payroll Giving can be found here. Alternatively, contact partnerships@cats.org.uk for more information regarding partnerships.

Cause-related marketing campaign (CRM) or product licensing

A cause-related marketing (CRM) campaign is a great way to support the charity. A CRM shows responsibility to your customers and employees. This could increase sales, customer loyalty and create a positive brand association.

Corporate Sponsorship opportunities

Cats Protection holds many events that may be available for corporate sponsorship. These could include the National Cat Awards, International Challenge Events or challenge events. You could also help with the day to day costs of running a centre.

Benefits of corporate partnerships for charities

There are many different advantages of corporate partnerships. For example, with support, we have access to a new group of clients to help.

Everyday there are more and more cats within the UK without a home, without the care that they need. Raising awareness of the issues we are up against is a great step towards making a difference.

Why are corporate partnerships so important?

Corporate partnerships provide charities with a range of benefits. For example, our corporate partners help us towards our key objectives of homing, neutering and education. We are also able to communicate our key messages and campaigns to a wider audience. These partnerships are crucial to the success of Cats Protection and many other charities within the UK.

Our current partners

We have developed a range of corporate partnerships with our existing partners who include Purina and Petplan among others.
