In memory of Izzy

I tragically lost my beautiful calico Izzy after she was attacked and killed by a dog and just left close to my home just weeks before her 2nd birthday. She was the best little character in the world and has left a huge hole in my heart. My shadow that made me laugh every day is gone and the shock of finding out has been unbearable. I felt so guilty and blamed myself, but I know I have to stop as Izzy was just doing what she loved every day, exploring. Luckily a kind resident found her and posted on a local facebook group, and I was tracked down and fortunately got her back home. I will be forever thankful for him being so caring, as there are so many horrible humans in this world. I will never ever get over that shock, but at least I got her home, as thousands don't and it would have been even more horrendous. I have a petition running until May as the law regarding reporting a dog attacking or killing a cat needs changed. It wont bring Izzy back but if I can even do this in her memory then it will be worth it, and will help thousands of others who this unfortunately happens to. It is not right that cats are treated differently to dogs in the eyes of the law. Please share and sign, in memory of Izzy. Fly high over the Rainbow Bridge baby girl.
