In memory of Smokie

Smokie Smokester! Charismatic and adventurous. Curious and handsome. Sociable, silky and noble. Smokie turned up on my doorstep 8 years ago and stayed with me ever since. He loved meeting new people and would often seek them out – he charmed all the neighbours, even the ones who had dogs, he would follow workmen around keeping them company, he greeted customers outside Sainsburys and all the cafes, restaurants and take-aways on the main road knew him He also used to hang out at the nearby nursing home and wandered into the sports bar too. Let’s not forget the time he was cat-napped! Everyone who met him loved him. Thank you for finding me and staying with me. I miss you and think of you every day my beautiful boy. Stay safe Smokie x
