In memory of Dave

We lost our little boy on the 3rd of Sep 2025. We adopted him from a cat cafe, however we unfortunately found out that the cats there were not properly looked after, and quite a few cats from there are adopted with a lot of health issues. Unfortunately we found out Dave had both FIP and also later, FIV. When he was 2, he managed to overcome and recover from FIP, and lived a healthy couple of years, but unfortunately due to a lot of health complications over the last couple of weeks, being on a feeding tube, getting an infection, needing various scans and procedures, he was put to sleep. In his last couple of days, he struggled to walk, struggled to sleep and meow, but he became very affectionate and started falling asleep on us (which was a rare occurance) while purring. Its been heart breaking, and our home feels very empty now, but I like to think we rescued him from the Cat Cafe, and we gave him the best life we could, and he fell asleep with in my arms while looking at my wife, so there is some comfort in knowing he wasn't alone in the end. We miss you Davey ❤️
