Community Kitty – An opportunity to support cat owners in need
Here at Cats Protection Exeter Axhayes we are working in collaboration with Exmouth Foodbank as part of our "Community Kitty scheme”, aimed at helping those who are vulnerable and struggling financially to feed their pets.
By helping to supply cat food, it is hoped this will avoid owners feeling that they need to relinquish their cat, allowing the cat to remain in its existing loving home.
Exmouth Foodbank work with agencies in the local area who will refer those in need to them for support with food for themselves and their pets. Food banks like this one are always in need of pet food and you can help them by purchasing a box of food from our new Community Kitty Amazon wish list:
