How Cat Guardians works

  • When you pass away, Cats Protection will collect and take care of your cat until we find them a loving new home
  • They’ll have a warm, cosy pen of their own and bowls of tasty food at one of our local branches or adoption centres
  • Our dedicated staff, volunteers and vets will ensure your cat always receives the love, care and medical attention they require

We took Bluebell in when her owner sadly passed away. Shortly after, we found this gentle girl a new home where she enjoys the happy life her original owner wanted for her.

We treat each cat in our care as an individual and will be there for your cat for as long as it takes to find them their perfect new home.

Missing a front leg, Bobby’s owner didn’t want him to be alone when they passed away. After six weeks in our care, Bobby found his new home with Rachel and her cat Stevie, who he enjoys cuddling up with after a hard day’s playing.

After registering we recommend you include instructions in your will or codicil. Wording for this is provided with the information we send you.

Once registered, you’ll receive a Cat Guardians pack to let friends and family know you have provided for your cat’s future.
