In memory of Toro

To the best friend I could have hoped for. My clever boy, we had such a connection and I'm deeply sorry I couldn't have protected you in your final moments. You died so suddenly I didn't have the chance to say good bye. It's been almost a month and I miss you more every day.  I used to carry you around the garden in your backpack but now the weight of the garden has lifted You used to ring a bell when you wanted a treat, now the sound of the bell has diminished Lifeless objects outlive you and it all seems so unfair. Bodies don't last forever but our bond remains unbroken. Love you Toro San
