Craft for Cats returns to needle felting with a twist! Sign up today and you can combine needle felting with jewellery making to create your own cat-themed accessories.
The kit is suitable for needle felting beginners but also includes more challenging designs for all you experts.
And the best bit? You'll be helping cats in need just by taking part!
The kit allows you to make 1x brooch featuring a sleeping cat on a branch or ledge (about 9 to 10cm long), 1x pendant cat head (about 2.5cm wide) and a pair of cat head earrings (about 2cm wide).
You could also make 2x brooches or about 6x cat head shapes.

The needle-felted jewellery kit has been expertly designed by The Makerss with our cat-loving crafters in mind! Create a likeness of your own cat, design a handmade gift for a friend or craft together and create memories.

You will also need some extra crafting items not included in the kit: sharp small scissors, either combination long-nosed pliers or wire cutters, a pencil, coloured crayon or felt tip pen (for eye colour), pink blusher (nose), your own necklace (if making pendant), glue (glue stick, PVA or similar).
This will be the fifth time Craft for Cats partners with The Makerss to bring back our favourite craft, needle felting.
The Makerss was founded in 2015 by our craftalong host Steffi. She has written three books on needle felting and one on doll making. She has designed kits under license with world famous brands such as Shaun the Sheep, Me to You Tatty Teddy, The Official Flower Fairies and others. Steffi, born and educated in Germany, grew up with many crafters surrounding her, including her mother who was never to be seen without a crochet hook or knitting needle.
Steffi is proud to be part of Craft for Cats for the fifth time since teaming up on our first event in 2021. In her own words: “It's just the best feeling in whole wide world. Teaching the craft that I love to like-minded people who not only love to learn new skills but love cats as much as I do and above all, together, we are helping our feline friends. It's got to be the best!”

Loved needle felting, my mum and sister also had kits so we got together and chatted and laughed as we made our needle-felted angel tree toppers. A lovely time remembered.
