The difference you will make to cats and people

Our publicity team leaders have the important role of supporting a wider team of publicity volunteers. As a team our publicity volunteers collectively keep members of the public informed of the vital and varied ways we help our cats in need. Raising awareness is crucial to us being able to help the thousands of cats and kittens each year that rely on us. A higher profile can help raise funds, raise awareness of adopting a cat, promote neutering and encourage as many people as possible to learn about feline welfare.

Rochdale Branch are going through an exciting time of growth and collaborating with RSPCA Oldham & Bury District Branch for our Cats Protection North Manchester site.  We are now looking for a a branch publicty team leader who will help shape positive PR for the branch and North Manchester site-working together with our team of volunteers to share good news stories and aligning our branch values 'Working as One' and 'All for Cats'.

This is an exciting role and will be paramount in showing all the amazing work that is happening within the branch and further out across our North West Region.  If you want a better world for cats and can see our vision then this could be the role for you.

This role is remote, full support/training will be provided-option for site based access @ North Manchester site.

What we need from you

You’ll be:

Time expectation 

Our publicity team leaders usually spend 3 to 4 hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.
