Adopt a cat
We have a number of beautiful cats and kittens looking for their ideal home in East Fife. Our cats and kittens are vet checked, microchipped, neutered, if old enough and will have had their first vaccination.
We can't feature them all here but we hope to show you some of the cats we are looking after, especially the ones who have been waiting a little longer for the right person to come along for them.
Please telephone us on 01592 362762
if you are interested in any of them, or to enquire about other cats or kittens we are currently fostering.
We often have more independant cats and mousers looking for farm or stable homes. We sometimes have indoor cats for homing, but unless it is specified in the description, the cats below will need outdoor access.
Taking on a cat is a big commitment. Please think about the following points:
1 Just as we are not all perfect, young, beautiful and outgoing, neither are our cats.
2 The majority of people are looking for kittens and cats up to the age of 2 years old.
3 The majority of our cats are older than this. The average life expectancy of a cat is 17-18 years old and some survive into their 20s, so an 8 year old cat has many good years to enjoy.
4 Many of our cats have either been left behind when their owners moved away, handed into us when a baby is born and the cat is no longer wanted, some have sadly been mistreated and others are not wanted as they are getting older.
5 Most of our cats have had a difficult time, and a stressful experience but they all deserve a forever home.
If you have a kind heart, please consider a cat that is not "perfect" and be prepared to give a cat time to settle and adjust.
We currently have space in our branch for stray cats/kittens. If you are concerned about any cats in your area please contact our branch on 01592 362762
