Immerse yourself in hauntings, history and the paranormal on our ghost walk around Inverness. Starting at the gates of the Chapel Yard Cemetery, join Cats Protection, led by Highland Paranormal, on a guided journey around some of Inverness’ oldest streets and hear tales of the city’s storied past.

Join us for our Inverness Ghost Walk, taking you through some of the city’s oldest streets.

On this guided walk you will hear tales of hauntings, witches, fairies and more; taking you from Chapel Yard Cemetery all the way to Old High Church with plenty of stops along the way.

How long is the ghost walk?

The ghost walk starts from the gates of the Chapel Yard Cemetery at 3pm and will be finished by 5pm at Old High Church.

 

What age is the ghost walk suitable for?

This activity is suitable for all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

What do I need to take with me?

Please wear sensible, comfortable footwear suitable for all weather. You should also wrap up warm!

Is there wheelchair access?

The graveyards have some uneven surfaces, and while wheelchair access is available in one of the graveyards, the other has no wheelchair access.

 

Is there a backup plan for bad weather?

If the weather is deemed unsuitable to do the walk, we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible. We will then reschedule the walk to a more suitable date.
