Why should I take part for Cats Protection

Two reasons, both are as important as each other.

  • firstly, to make life better for millions of cats across the country. Your generosity and kindness enables our teams to go on caring for cats
  • secondly, for yourself! By taking part in this run, it can be a fantastic and fun way to challenge yourself, mix up your day to day, get fit and raise vital donations for cats in need. We like to think of it as the good kind of nervous. You’re getting out of your comfort zone but you’ll be having so much fun doing it!

You'll also receive some fantastic benefits! Some of the fun things you’ll get by taking part include:

  • free entry into Kew Gardens for you and your supporters
  • a great goody bag including post-race snacks and a drink
  • a fantastic medal
  • an official Run-Fest technical running t-shirt (male and female cut)
  • course entertainment including Dj's and cheer stations

How we're helping cats in your community

We help an estimated 157,000 cats and kittens a year through our national network which includes around 185 volunteer teams and 32 cat centres. We also provide an array of cat care information and support, promote the benefits of neutering, and seek to educate people of all ages about cats and their care.

You're able to nominate any local Cats Protection to receive 100% of the money you raise from your challenge, helping the cats in your chosen area.
