Ready for a great night out with a purpose?

Come along to our lively pub quiz and enjoy an evening packed with fun and friendly competition. Whether you’re a trivia buff or just in it for the atmosphere, it’s a brilliant way to spend time with friends and test your knowledge.
But that’s not all, on the night there will also be a fantastic raffle with great prizes up for grabs, plus a tabletop sale featuring beautiful handmade items by our wonderful volunteers. It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up something special while supporting a great cause.
We are also providing some delicious chip butties for everyone attending to fuel your brain for the quiz!

Where is the quiz? 

Junction Pub Rainford, 102 News Ln, Saint Helens WA11 7JU

What time does the quiz start and end? 

The quiz will start at 7pm, so we recommend arriving 15 minutes before to find a seat. We expected the quiz to finish around 9.30pm.

Where can I park? 

The Junction Pub has a car park and there is also plenty of on-street parking nearby.

Is there any public transport nearby?

The Junction Pub is opposite Rainford Train station and is also located near two bus stops.

Can I pay on the day?

We'll be accepting cash payments on the day of the event but this is dependent on numbers. To secure your place in advance, please purchase a ticket via this webpage.

Should I bring cash? 

In order to take part in our raffle or buy some beautiful handmade knitted items, please bring cash.

Will the quiz be based on cats?

Our wonderful quiz master has numerous fun, head scratching rounds from music to history to popular culture, and one round on cats!

How we're helping cats in your community

We help an estimated 157,000 cats and kittens a year through our national network which includes around 185 volunteer teams and 32 cat centres. We also provide an array of cat care information and support, promote the benefits of neutering, and seek to educate people of all ages about cats and their care. 

You're able to nominate any local Cats Protection to receive 100% of the money you raise from your challenge, helping the cats in your chosen area.
