How to adopt a cat with us

Oscar

Mid-Warwickshire

Oscar is a fit and healthy boy, just two years old. He has gorgeous thick, white fur except for a few black patches - near one ear, behind him and on his tail. His white ears turn pink when he
runs around which complements his pink nose!

Being in his prime Oscar eats and sleeps well and has bundles of energy. While in foster care (and hence confined to indoors) he has benefitted from a routine of regular bouts of play, including in the evening before bedtime. He enjoys running around and chasing toys which prevents him getting bored and helps him release his healthy store of energy.

Oscar is a very expressive puss and loves spending time with people. His demonstrable affection can include doing roly-polys when greeted, showing his belly and seeking lap love.

Occasionally, particularly when over-stimulated or in need of play, he can pounce or play-bite people. While this is normal behaviour for a cat it can be misinterpreted as aggression. While in our care this has much reduced and he has benefitted from learning boundaries and focussing his natural animal instincts on toys.

Oscar seeks a new owner/s without children or other pets. His ideal match is an owner who understands and can read cat behaviour and has the time and patience to engage and play with him until he is ready to rediscover the great outdoors. If you are willing to share love and fun times with Oscar the rewards will be huge and long-lasting. Is this you?
