How to adopt a cat with us

Wilma

Glastonbury & Wells

We urgently need a forever home for WILMA. She has been in a pen since early February and is longing to be free.

WILMA is 16 years old and has been vet checked, had a dental and is fit, healthy, lively and ready to embrace life with a new owner.

Sadly her previous owner can no longer look after her and so Wilma has had to leave her happy life on the Somerset levels and be confined to a pen. She is friendly but may not be a lap cat. We aren't sure how she will be with other cats but she would probably settle with a laid back, older male provided there is room in the house for them to have their own space.

ONE THING WE ARE SURE ABOUT IS THAT WILMA MUST HAVE A HOME WELL AWAY FROM BUSY ROADS IN A VILLAGE OR EDGE OF TOWN SITUATION. SHE IS AN OLDER CAT BUT NOT READY TO SIT ON THE SETTEE ALL DAY. SHE LIKES TO BE ACTIVE.

No 16 year old cat should be in a pen, especially an active cat like Wilma. In view of her age Cats Protection will support any vets bills that may crop up although as we have said she is very healthy at present.

Please complete the application form to offer her a new forever home.
