How to adopt a cat with us

Bertie

Wales Cat Centre

Meet the adorable Bertie. This sweet boy came into care when his beloved owner sadly passed away. Understandably he has found it quite overwhelming adjusting to centre life so will need a kind and patient owner who can let him settle in his own time. We were told that he is "very loving and affectionate once he gets to know and trust you. He loves to play in the garden and is inquisitive, often sat on his cat tower watching the world go by. He loved to be brushed, and although he is not a lapcat he will cuddle next to you and enjoys fusses." Bertie is a timid cat who is used to a quiet adult home, and can be nervous of visitors. We were told he is scared of children, and would hide away and he is also scared of cats / dogs so needs to be the only pet going forward. He adored his owner and was a great companion, so if you are looking for a gentle natured, loving cat then Bertie is the boy for you.
