Cola

Bedford & Biggleswade

Meet Cola, a beautiful 2-year-old black cat with a gentle soul and so much love to give. Behind her striking looks is a sensitive girl who just needs a little time and understanding to truly shine.

When Cola first arrives in a new home, she can feel a little overwhelmed and will look for a quiet place to hide while she takes everything in. She finds comfort in smaller, cosy spaces at first, where she can feel safe and secure. But give her a day or two, a calm environment, and a little patience, and you’ll start to see her blossom. Almost like magic, Cola begins to seek you out - softly approaching for affection, ready to trust, and eager to connect.

Once she feels settled, Cola transforms into a confident and affectionate companion. She’s a little purring machine who loves being around her people, gently rubbing against you and asking for fuss and attention. She enjoys “chatting” too, happily responding with sweet little meows as if she’s part of the conversation.

Cola has a playful, curious side and loves to climb, explore, and enjoy her surroundings. She’s equally content to curl up for a peaceful snooze or sit by the window watching the birds go by. While she doesn’t mind being picked up, she’ll let you know when she’s had enough with a little wiggle - though she’ll still stay close, asking for affection in her own way.

Cola would thrive in a loving home with children aged 10 and over, and she’s happy to live with other cats. She would prefer a home without dogs. A quiet location away from busy roads and railways is important so she can feel safe and relaxed as she settles into her new life.

Cola is the kind of cat who rewards patience with deep trust and affection. If you’re willing to give her that little bit of time at the beginning, she will fill your home with warmth, gentle chatter, and unconditional love.

A safe, secure, quiet room to start off in would be ideal for Cola. A room where she can have a separate area for food and water. For a litter tray placed as far away as possible from her food and water. For somewhere to hide, access to a high spot where she can view her surroundings, a suitable place to sleep or, ideally, a choice of them, a scratching post and a few cat toys and space for her to play. We would recommend a Feliway Optimum diffuser in her room, as she will likely hide away for a few days when she goes to her new home.
