How to adopt a cat with us

Eliza

Halifax, Huddersfield & Wakefield

Eliza is a stunning 2 year old tabby and white girl. She has a very sweet nature and bonds closely to her favourite people (not to mention stoically loyal).

Eliza isn't the type of cat who will march straight into your home and demand attention. She's a gentle soul who takes her time to trust. New people and unfamiliar situations can feel overwhelming for her, so she's looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle at her own pace.

But if you're willing to give her that chance, you'll discover the most loyal companion you could wish for.

Once Eliza decides you're her person, she loves deeply. She'll greet you with her tiny little miaow, put her paws up for a treat, purr endlessly while being brushed, and eventually curl up beside you—or even on your lap—for a cuddle. Her affection is quiet, genuine, and completely unconditional.

Despite her shy nature, Eliza is still a young girl who loves to play. A drinking straw can provide endless entertainment, and she absolutely adores batting a ping-pong ball around inside a paper bag! She's also incredibly clever and enjoys puzzle toys that let her show off her kitty intelligence.

Eliza is looking for:
- A quiet home
- No other animals
- No young children
- Patient adopters who will let her build confidence in her own time

When Eliza came to us she had some inflammation around her gums. After a vet recommendation she had several teeth removed but it hasnt stopped her enjoying her food and she isn’t on any ongoing medication or treatment. No ongoing issues are expected and she has recovered well.

Please note: due to the volume of applications we receive for some cats, if you haven’t heard from us within 7 days of your application unfortunately you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
